This vibrant course invites participants on a musical journey through vocal, instrumental, and improvisational traditions from around the world. Drawing on styles such as gospel, Afro-Brazilian music, flamenco, and blues, the course emphasizes collaboration, cultural understanding, and creative expression. Methodology

Through hands-on workshops, ensemble practice, and cultural immersion, participants will explore musical traditions from around the world. Sessions combine vocal work, rhythm, instrumental playing and improvisation, supported by guided by experienced and inspiring music educators.. Each tradition is introduced with its cultural context and adapted for accessible and collaborative learning.

Weekly Schedule

  • Day 1: Welcome circle, course introduction, and community building
  • Day 2: Vocal tradition and gospel music
  • Day 3: Session 1: Afro-Brazilian grooves + Session 2: Blues & Improvisation
  • Day 4: Cultural visit and evening jam session
  • Day 5: Flamenco: rhythm, melody, and storytelling
  • Day 6: Collaborative ensemble creation and final performance
  • Day 7: Final reflections, course evaluation, and certificate ceremony
