Visit Clasijazz & Get to Know Our Work

Come to Almería to experience Clasijazz from the inside. Observe our activities, meet our team, or organise an Erasmus+ mobility with us.

Do you have a KA1 or KA2 project? Is your centre Erasmus+ accredited? Are you interested in job shadowing, a joint project, or coming with a group of young people, adults, or students?

Our doors are completely open to you. Clasijazz is a place where ideas become projects and where creativity, education, and community are closely connected. We offer a wide range of educational, cultural, artistic, and musical activities that are worth discovering in person.

Why Visit Clasijazz?

Clasijazz is a living cultural ecosystem: a music, theatre and dance school, a jazz club, a creative community, and a home for artistic projects in Almería and its rural surroundings. A visit is an opportunity to see how music and the arts can shape education, community life, and local identity.

What You Can Do During a Visit

Who Is It For?
  • Music teachers and arts educators.
  • School leaders and Erasmus+ coordinators.
  • Teachers from music schools and conservatories.
  • Teachers of any subject that want to incorporate artistic activities in their classroom.
  • Anyone interested in culture, creativity and community projects.

Some of the activities you can   explore:

Can You Imagine…?

  • ✨ Being on the same stage — and with the same artistic team — that has collaborated with legendary musicians such as Lee Konitz, Hermeto Pascoal, Barry Harris, Maria Schneider, Benny Golson, Chucho Valdés, Arturo Sandoval, Grigory Sokolov, Jordi Savall, and many more?
  • ✨ Experiencing, in a single place, activities connected to inclusion, environment, education, community, and youth participation?
  • ✨ Being surrounded by music, theatre, dance, science, and literature, all under one roof?
  • ✨ Discovering firsthand how our team works across three concert halls, an artistic residency, and a vibrant music and arts school?
  • ✨ Learning how a foundation of national and international reference operates — one that has organised more than 4,000 events since 2012, with an average of 15 weekly activities?
  • ✨ Connecting with all types of groups: children’s ensembles, youth groups, adult amateurs, professionals, a symphony orchestra, funk bands, rock and pop groups, and much more?

All of this — and a lot more — is possible at Clasijazz.

Are you going to miss it?

Job Shadowing Opportunities

Your visit can be organised as an Erasmus+ job shadowing mobility. This allows teachers and staff to observe our daily work, reflect on their own practice, and bring inspiration back to their schools.

Possible Focus Areas

What Job Shadowing Can Include
  • Sitting in on rehearsals, classes, and workshops.
  • Observing how we coordinate events and projects.
  • Informal talks with our team about methodologies and challenges.
  • Time for reflection, note-taking, and planning next steps for your school.

Programmes can be short (2–3 days) or extended over a full week, depending on your needs and funding.
